Interim HR Manager (4 months)

HR SUPPORT
  • Oversee and manage recruitment, talent management, labor relations, performance management, training, and skills development
  • Administer bursaries, internships, and learnership programs
  • Manage HR administration including leave, performance reviews, terminations, appointments, pensions, medical aid, and benefits
  • Provide advice on recruitment and selection processes
  • Manage onboarding of employees
  • Ensure compliance with performance management processes
  • Implement diversity management and drive employment equity
REPORTING AND INSIGHTS
  • Develop and maintain HR databases for reporting
  • Monitor and report on HR statistics for business objectives
  • Prepare and present reports for executive meetings
  • Attend and chair HR forums and provide recommendations
HR SYSTEMS, INNOVATION, AND AUTOMATION
  • Promote and manage HR information systems
  • Implement innovative HR practices aligned with industry standards
  • Drive automation of HR processes
  • Ensure OBP is aligned to best practices
PEOPLE MANAGEMENT
  • Implement strategic targets and performance management
  • Lead and develop all staff in the department
  • Maintain a professional environment in alignment with OBP values
  • Focus on improving department productivity
  • Create environment for staff development, engagement, and retention
  • Determine staffing requirements and oversee personnel processes
RISK AND COMPLIANCE MANAGEMENT
  • Mitigate department's risk profile through fraud controls and risk prevention
  • Implement governance and compliance processes to manage risks
  • Maintain quality risk management in line with regulatory requirements
  • Drive compliance with policies and procedures
  • Monitor regulatory changes and implement operational controls
  • Support internal and external audit requirements
  • Enforce operational Service Level Agreements
  • Ensure adherence to legislation, policies, and procedures
Requirements

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
  • Formal Education
    • Graduate Degree in Human Resources Management NQF 7
    • Additional post-graduate degree in HR management or Employment Relations NQF 8
  • Technical/Legal Certification
    • None
  • Experience
    • Minimum 5 years in HR environment with 3 years in supervisory role
    • Experience in manufacturing environment advantageous
