Interim Talent Acquisition Coordinator

Location: Cape Town or Johannesburg

We are looking for an immediately availableTalent Coordinator to support a team of recruiters & sourcers with their talent acquisition process for a multinational business within the oil & gas industry.
We do need someone who is immediately available to assist the team.
You will support the wider talent acquisition team by coordinating candidate interviews, ensuring all systems are up to date with the relevant candidate documentation, maintaining and updating the recruitment metrics and reporting.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Take ownership of the recruitment process coordination ensuring that all recruiters and sourcers are informed and involved at the appropriate stages
  • Coordinate and schedule candidate interviews with hiring managers and other team members
  • Work closely with the recruiters in managing the applicant tracking systems and databases to ensure accurate and up-to-date records and that all candidate documents are attached
  • Assist with initial candidate screening calls, when required
  • Support the recruiters and sourcers with DE&I efforts by identifying diverse talent pools, collaborating with the team to implementing DE&I best practices
  • Communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing updates, answering questions, and gathering feedback
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations
  • Maintain the recruitment metrics to measure the effectiveness of the talent acquisition process
  • Assist the team with recruitment reporting by gathering and analyzing data, preparing reports, and identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • When required, support the team with identifying and building relationships with potential candidates, creating a talent pipeline for future hiring needs
  • If required assist other coordinators when required with scheduling, screening, and other administrative tasks
What we are looking for:
  • Ideally 2 or more years of recruitment coordination
  • Ability to support and collaborate with multiple recruiters/sourcers at a time
  • Strong proven track record in organisational and time management skills
  • Must be immediately available to support as soon as possible
