A position has arisen for a dynamic and vibrant Intermediate / Senior Travel consultant to join our driven travel team in Johannesburg.
Job requirements:
- The position requires a person with the relevant experience and knowledge of varies travel destinations along with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Consideration of your residence in relation to our office will be a considering factor as this is a target driven environment and requires the utmost punctuality.
- The candidate must possess great attention to detail, interpersonal skills, ability to communicate well & eloquently at all levels, initiative, ability to work under pressure, target driven and motivated.
- Relevant travel & tourism qualification.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a travel agency dealing with local & international travel for leisure & corporate.
- Good geographical knowledge, Strong in Amadeus.
- Bilingual, previous local & international travel an added advantage.
- Excellent Customer Service at all times.
- Plan, cost itinerary / travel packages for local & international FIT’s.
- Handle full functions of each booking from first inquiry to completion and liaise with travelers, agents and suppliers to ensure smooth running of each booking
- Working hours will be Monday to Friday / 8 am to 5 pm
- Salary is highly negotiable depending on experience with lucrative commission structure.
