Role And Responsibilities
As a Carbon Footprint Intern, you will have the opportunity to:
- Collaborate with the Carbon Footprint Lead: Work closely with our Carbon Footprint Lead on various projects, gaining insights into carbon accounting, emissions reduction strategies, and sustainable practices.
- Data Collection and Analysis: Assist in gathering and analysing data to calculate carbon footprints for various clients. This includes understanding different data sources, processing techniques, and reporting standards.
- Support in Client Engagement: Participate in meetings and discussions with clients, helping to communicate carbon footprint results and develop actionable sustainability strategies.
- Contribute to Research and Reporting: Aid in researching emerging trends and best practices in carbon management, and contribute to the development of reports and presentations for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in the Development of Tools and Resources: Help in the creation and enhancement of tools, templates, and resources that support our carbon footprint projects and overall sustainability objectives.
We are looking for candidates who:
- Are currently pursuing or have recently completed a degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- Have a strong interest in sustainability, carbon management, and environmental impact reduction.
- Possess excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Are detail-oriented and have strong organizational skills.
- Have good communication skills and are comfortable working in a team environment.
- Are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and have a basic understanding of data analysis tools.
