INTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER / HEAD OF INTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS
This is an exciting opportunity for a bright, ambitious, and energetic communications professional to help define and deliver the internal comms strategy across a 12, 000-person business. A key member of the Marketing and & Communications team, you will report directly to the Head of Employee Engagement & Change Comms and will have the opportunity to work within a growing, energetic, and high-impact marketing and comms team for a global business. You will be someone who is highly collaborative by nature, is data and insights driven and has a passion for storytelling and developing communications that drive strong employee sentiment and engagement.
Job Specification
- Working as part of the Internal Communications and Change team, you will develop and deliver global internal communications plans that focus on helping employees understand, and buy-in to, the strategic direction of the business
- The gatekeeper of the internal comms calendar and ensure the internal comms plan is aligned with the broader comms and culture plan.
- Work closely with the change communications manager to support the execution of change and culture comms within your broader internal comms calendar
- Support the business in the internal education of employees of our products, services, and capabilities
- Deliver the brand message internally to ensure key stakeholders, such as the CRM team, sales, MDs, and country heads understand business direction and deliver that locally
- Support in the organisation, prep, and hosting for all leadership townhalls and host those on our streaming platform (Qumu) including executing post townhall feedback loop for continually improvement in leadership comms
- run the local townhall calendar, drafting the agenda and messaging points for all country heads to deliver to their teams monthly
- campaigns and materials to support cultural integration and unify employee sentiment across the Group
- Provide data insights by location, corporate title, business segment and team to the change communications manager to identify cultural hotspots
- Develop new mechanisms for engaging mid-management in understanding our key messages and translating those to their teams running coffee hangouts etc. and facilitating cross-department collaboration and understanding
- Work closely with key business functions such as HR, IT, Operations etc. to facilitate the delivery of key business communications and campaigns
- Be responsible for the Groups intranet ownership and continual development, working closely with the developer assigned to continually improve the platform
- Be the expert on internal comms tools, including Poppulo and Snapcomms for the day-to-day execution of internal comms requirements
- Min 7 years experience in communications and/or project management roles
- Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written
- A natural aptitude for managing multiple tasks simultaneously with unparalleled organisation skills
- Proven experience in a B2B financial services comms role
- Good understanding of complexities surrounding internal comms in a global
