We are actively recruiting for a full-time Wool Trader position. Ideally based in our Adelaide, South Australia Head Office, however, we are willing to consider applications from Australian Residents who would prefer to work remotely.
Your Next Opportunity
Michell Wool is seeking an experienced Wool Trader, working on a full-time basis. This role is pivotal in sourcing, negotiating, and delivering high-quality wool to international markets. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this position involves key responsibilities in market analysis, customer relationship management, and sales strategy development.
More specifically, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Sourcing carbonised, scoured, and greasy wool, along with other commodities
- Negotiating contracts and terms with suppliers and customers
- Delivering high-quality wool raw materials to international customers
What You Will Bring to the Team
To qualify for this exciting opportunity, you should have at least 10 years of experience in the wool industry, ideally with management expertise. Alternatively, tertiary qualifications in business management or a related field will be considered. Experience with international trading and a solid understanding of the wool industry are essential.
