Inventory Controller (JB3854)

In this role, you would be responsible for all tasks related to inventory in the warehouse, including overseeing the flow of inventory in and out of the warehouse.

The ideal candidate would have relevant experience, strong numerical abilities and excellent communication skills in a team-orientated environment.

Minimum Requirements

Matric

Supply Chain or Logistics qualification would be beneficial.

Duties And Responsibilities

Maintaining and managing the inventory of materials and stocked products, which include stock locations.

Controlling monthly inventory stock counting and accuracy checks through cycle counting.

Investigating discrepancies and shortages to minimize costs to the depot.

Reporting on overstocks.

Removing redundant and obsolete stock to quarantine area awaiting instruction.

Ensuring goods are received and managed according to the principals standard procedure.

Organising and maintaining the inventory floor area to ensure efficient material storage and handling.

Maintaining labelling systems on the racking.

Completing daily reports to control the key critical areas of the stock system and address any discrepancies, including managing control measures to make sure inaccuracies and errors are highlighted and resolved.
