Inventory Manager

We are seeking a dynamic individual who can wear multiple hats and thrive in a fast-paced environment. The Inventory Manager will be responsible for managing product-related tasks such as orders, re-orders, and inventory management, as well as providing administrative support in other areas of the business as needed.

Location: Fully-Remote (Work from Home), 10 AM - 6 PM EST

Responsibilities:
  • Manage Product-related Tasks:
    • Process orders, re-orders, and oversee inventory management to ensure timely delivery and availability of products.
    • Analyze sales data and trends to identify opportunities for product optimization and improvement.
  • Supplier and Vendor Coordination:
    • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of products and materials, maintaining strong relationships to support business operations.
  • Inventory Monitoring and Forecasting:
    • Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with relevant teams to forecast demand, preventing stockouts and overstock situations.
  • Administrative Support:
    • Provide administrative support for other teams, including maintaining records, preparing reports, and organizing meetings to ensure smooth business operations.
  • Cross-functional Assistance:
    • Assist in other areas of the business as needed, including finance, HR, and operations, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  • Market Research:
    • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and competitor activities, providing insights to inform strategic decision-making.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • Proven experience in product management, inventory control, or related roles, preferably with small businesses.
  • Experience working in shipping and vendor management
  • Strong analytical and forecasting skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with inventory management software.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Having fashion or apparel merchandising experience is a plus.
