As an Investment Analyst, you'll play a vital role in scrutinising potential opportunities and helping in the execution of deals. Your role mainly involves conducting detailed financial analyses, in depth research, compiling your findings in reports and structuring deals that are beneficial to all stakeholders.
This role will predominantly be working on US and UK SME funding deals and requires the ability to upskill, learn and understand the product and industry nuances in these markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Scrutinise potential clients companies, conducting in depth research and financial analysis.
- Write and prepare detailed investment reports which will be used by the investment committees for approval of deals.
- Manage multiple deals across a wide range of industries and in different geographical markets.
- Collaborate with deal originators to identify solid investment opportunities.
- Make improvements to maintaining the integrity of their investment process.
- Qualified CA(SA) is required.
- 2-4 years post-article experience.
- Transaction, Investment or Financial Analysis experience is beneficial
- Additional certification such as FMVA, CFA and other Investment certification is beneficial.
- Market rate, between: R675 000 - R840 000 per annum
