Requirements
- Matric or equivalent
- 3-5 years' payroll experience in a medium sized company, preferably involved in Manufacturing
- Current experience on a Payroll system (knowledge of and experience on the Nutun Accsys Peopleware Clocking systems) will be to your distinct advantage
- PRISM knowledge advantageous
- Microsoft Excel competent
- Confidentiality
- Good administration and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail
- Good communication skills (written and verbal)
- Problem solving ability
- High level of Literacy, Numeracy and Accuracy
- The ability to work according to strict deadlines on a continuous basis
- Wage preparation and processing
- Maintaining the clocking system and checking for daily clock recordings for accuracy and completeness (salary and wages)
- File maintenance of all wage related records and reports
- Processing of third party payments
- Wage related administration, i.e. garnishee orders, etc.
- Payment query resolution
- Completion of statutory submissions
- Processing leave on leave module (salaries & wages)
- Monthly wage reconciliations & reports
- Processing of employees' pension fund withdrawal
- Maintenance of payroll system
- Preparation of weekly and monthly wage and leave reports
- Deal with any wage related queries
- BEE Administration
- Ad-hoc Duties
