IT INFRASTRUCTURE MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST REQUIRED IN GAUTENG

Requirements:

Degree in information Technology, Information Systems or Computer Science

VMWare Certification

Linux experience

5 years' working experience in a similar role

VMWare and Storage experience compulsory

Basic CCNA (switching and routing skills

Network Security skills

Experience with VMWare, Storage, Networking and Hardware components

Knowledge of CentOS 7, Ubuntu and Debian

Installation of VPN

Configuration of Linux Firewall

hands on experience with Fibre Switches

Building of Fibre Channel Network

Security patches

Server Hardware

Setting IP addresses

Understanding of Multipath high availability storage

Experience designing and implementing Backup Policies

Knowledge or training on VMware, vSphere 6.x. and ESX 6.0+ deployment,
configuration and maintenance
