My client is searching for an experienced IT Infrastructure Manager who manages the breadth of infrastructure technologies.

JOB OBJECTIVE:
- This position is a hands-on operational role in fabric.
- Support and manage ongoing IT infrastructures, on premise and cloud devices, providing end-user support, installations, moves, additions, and changes and deliver on related projects.
- Candidate will be jointly responsible to protect company interests, assets, systems and data from unauthorized access and cyber risks and reduce business risks related to dependencies on IT infrastructure uptime.
- Degree or Higher certificate or in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- A+, N+ MS Certified Engineer and or Cisco certification ITIL Foundation certified.
- Above average MS Office (M365/Excel) and MS Teams ability.
- Minimum 5 years of solid proven working experience in providing IT support, to end users, for MS platform servers, networks, and IT facilities.
- Experience in managing IT infrastructure operations, in medium to large business.
- Project management understanding and capability to drive Infrastructure projects, successfully, with minimal downtime.
- Excellent hands-on knowledge, technical understanding and best practises for management and support of:
- Computer systems including, desktops, notebooks, severs, printers, scanners, and peripherals (Dell, Toshiba, Zebra)
- Networking (LAN/WAN/SD-WAN), switches, routers, and wireless equipment, Firewall, VPN (Checkpoint, Cisco)
- Microsoft server OS, services administration, Azure Cloud, M365, print servers applications support
- VOIP Cloud PABX (Asterix)
- Good understanding of IT operations and service management, with ticketing solution.

- Be on IT standby (on site and remote).
- Able to work overtime hours and shifts (if needed).
- Must have a drivers licence and own vehicle.
- Able travel to branches in SA.
- Provide 1st, 2nd and 3rd level end-user, remote and desk side support.
- Configure, setup, troubleshoot, and repair all IT related hardware for approved network equipment, internal devices, and systems.
- Planning, coordination, and execution of new installations, moves, additions, upgrades of IT infrastructures, for day-to-day operations (24x7) and projects.
- Management and ongoing maintenance of IT hardware, networks, and computing devices, VOIP, and cyber security systems at all sites.
- Liaison and collaboration with IT service providers Pro-active monitoring and maintaining uptime of LAN and WAN network links and devices, for performance.
- Ensure backups are completed daily with periodic recovery testing.
- Implement IT physical asset management, with periodic verification.
- Maintain IT infrastructure configuration management and physical asset management!
- Work closely with Service desk to resolve incidents/service request and supply excellent customer service.
- Managing IT facilities areas with networking devices, UPS devices and aircons.
- Monitor performance of IT Infrastructure equipment and related systems, with corrective recommendations for improvement.
- Implement IT infrastructure standard operating procedures, standby and support schedules.
- Enforce local IT and group governance policies, to all infrastructure users.
