IT Internal Sales Consultant (JB1361)
Location: Rivonia, Johannesburg
Salary: R10 - 15 000 basic + GP Commission
Duration: Fixed term three-month contract, with the possibility of extension to permanent
Our client has been providing IT support, services, hardware and software solutions to clients across South Africa for over 20 years and is currently expanding its team and looking for performance driven individuals.
The ideal candidate would have at least five years’ experience in IT sales and be comfortable working with Excel formulas to provide fast and accurate figures and percentages. You should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a excellent customer service with a willingness to go the extra mile when required.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Sales and New Business Manager to acquire the best prices for equipment services and goods, ensuring that client orders are invoiced, and the full financial and delivery procedure is followed.
Purchasing services and goods at the best possible prices allowing the company to be profitable due to the fulfilment of this function.
To fully apply the processes as developed for the control of all transactions from the leads which come into the office as well as the full procurement process.
All Administration covering the transactions are fully up to date, are accurate and documents are preserved according to the requirements of Finance.
That regular communication is made with service providers to ensure that they see the company as a vital part of their organisation in relation to their own income.
Regular communications are sent both internally and externally advising every one of the various special services/prices we can offer.
All invoicing is accurate and timely.
All incoming invoices related to this position are checked for accuracy.
All deliveries into the organisation are checked for correctness and completeness.
Daily updates on actions achieved during the day are forwarded to the senior.
This also to include any problems or concerns and not only are these reported but solutions to the problems/concerns are also given.
Regular visits to the service providers are made ensuring proximity to the individuals within the organisation so they give us the best possible service and prices.
