Requirements and skills
Completed Grade 12 qualification
IT related qualification (A+ and/or N+)
1-2 years relevant IT experience
MCP level preferred
Microsoft Windows server skills
Basic knowledge of Linux systems (command line)
Advanced Word and Excel skills
Understanding of applications and networking
Duties
Operation of monitoring systems & infrastructure according to SLA for clients
Offer first line support
Act on alarms and other associated commands or messages displayed on monitors / displays
Health checks & compilation of reports
Perform system administration tasks & maintain database of monitored objects
RT systems maintained
