Job Description:
We are looking for an IT Support whose primary role will be overseeing all our remote support for our International Clients. This involves ensuring there is adequate support the being provided at all times, maintaining a high standard of service and making improvements when necessary. You will be working with other technical departments, resolving issues, assisting on projects, etc.
The applicant should be a responsible individual with a strong work ethic and excellent interpersonal skills. Flexibility, adaptability and out of the box thinking will be beneficial.
Due to Global Media Services being a 24\7 operation, shift work may be required (includes weekends). Shifts are subject to change, in accordance to the businesses support requirements. There will also be a standby requirement.
Responsibilities include the following:
- Oversees support operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
- Research and implement improvements when required.
- Take the technical lead when required.
- Present technical solutions or improvements to your superiors.
- Provide telephonic\remote support to our international clients.
- Monitor our various systems\networks and respond proactively to any issues.
- Respond to support requests and ensure they are completed in a timely fashion.
- Generating and maintaining support documentation.
Required experience and skills (minimum 4 years):
- Experience in working with SQL servers and support
- Troubleshooting\Administering Microsoft Windows Server and Desktop Operating Systems.
- Troubleshooting\Administering a global network infrastructure. This includes knowledge in routing, VPN’s, Wi-Fi, WAN’s, Firewalls, etc.
- Linux and Mikrotik experience will be beneficial.
- Excellent customer relations ability.
