Under the director of the Finance Manager and within the limited of Proactive Hospitality Solutions policies and procedures, the IT Support Consultant will play an important role in maintaining ALL company equipment and systems.
The IT support Consultant position will be focused on providing ALL Proactive companies with a cohesive IT infrastructure.
Main Responsibilities
- Managing IT inventory and maintaining the Companys asset list
- Provide IT support to all company employees in office and remote.
- Create and maintain IT documentation
- Conducting health checks on all company equipment and raise any potential failures to the Finance Manager
- Accountable for on-boarding all new staff members ensuring they have access to all relevant programs and drives:
- MyGlue
- Office 365 set-up
- Eurphoria Telephone application
- Monday. Com
- Antivirus
- Responsible for maintaining and updating the technical Monday.com board ensuring a clear communication with ongoing projects.
- Recommend improvements for the organisations IT system
- Prepare incident reports for all accidental damage to company equipment which will be submitted to the insurance company
- Build and maintain relationships with fellow IT support companies
- Research and prepare purchase orders for any new equipment that is required
- Maintaining knowledge of IT support, help desk procedures, products, and services.
- Maintaining IT documentation and user management in systems/tools
- Creating a positive relationship with colleagues: They are part of the internal approach NOT to work in silos but one company bringing the departments as one. Therefore, their interaction with Management and Employees are an example and needs to be a positive influence.
- Travelling required
- Complying with all vaccination requirements that may be applicable to the destination. Please note, the Company may request for you to pay any excess towards travel such as Travel insurance due to the employee not being vaccinated.
- Maintain a professional and positive attitude in all dealings with clients either on the phone or in person
- 2-5 years of experience in IT support/ administration
- Proficient in Windows
- Experience with cloud or in-house services/systems administration
- Excellent communication skills, positive attitude, and ability to work effectively in a team
