JOB PURPOSE:
The position of IT Support Technician consists of providing technical assistance to computer system users and answering questions or resolving computer problems for clients in person, via telephone or from remote location. It also consists of providing assistance concerning the use of computer hardware and software, including printing, installation, word processing, electronic mail, operating systems, and configuring of the VoIP telephony systems.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION:
An appropriate tertiary qualification in Information Technology
WORK EXPERIENCE:
1-year experience (minimum)
KEY SKILLS
1. Microsoft Workstation, Desktop and Laptop Support
2. Microsoft Server Implementation and Maintenance
3. Familiarity with Network Infrastructure
4. VoIP Implementation and Maintenance - Bonus
