Applications are invited for the position of campus IT technician. We have a vacancy open in the Operations Department as an IT technician reporting to the operations manager.
Job responsibilities:
- The applicant will be responsible for all technical support and quality assurance of IT hardware and software.
- Windows/Mac support.
- Desktop support within office environment.
- Software installations. Software troubleshooting.
- PC/Mac troubleshooting & support.
- Provide preventive and corrective maintenance to onsite IT equipment covering hardware, operating systems and applications
- Printer troubleshooting & support.
- Other miscellaneous hardware.
- Respond to software/hardware related calls.
- Ensuring that all software updated
- Hardware maintenance
Job requirements:
- A+N+ Certification or equivalent Diploma
- Network support tasks (TCP/IP client settings, etc)
- Strong troubleshooting ability on standard software packages.
- IT Technical working experience of 3 years minimum, 5+ years preferred
- Experience in desktop and network support.
- Windows XP, 7, 8.1 and 10
- MSDOS knowledge
- Windows Server 2008 and 2012

- DNS/DHCP

- Network Infrastructure Knowledge
