Minimum 2-3 years of experience in IT
Primary Purpose of the Job:
Ensure workstation, network access, and software application availability.
Manage Internet access control and ensure secure, zero abuse of internet access by students and colleagues.
Maintain and deploy antivirus across all systems to ensure a network free of malicious viruses.
Operate a helpdesk to resolve all support calls and queries within agreed service level agreements.
Manage printers and ensure all are in working order.
Conduct regular backups as per schedule, ensuring no data is lost and ability to restore from backup tapes.
Hardware installations, problem solving, maintenance, and support.
Software installations, including OS, MS Office, and third-party applications.
Network management including cable management, patching, and equipment maintenance.
