Position Description

As an Analyst on Pure Watercrafts Business Development team, youll leverage your exceptional problem-solving and data-driven analytical skills to support Pures executive team on a wide range of rapidly-evolving strategic initiatives. Youll focus primarily on strategic analysis (deal & new initiative analysis) and execution (implementing plans, applying for financing opportunities). Your views will be reviewed directly by our executive team and you will be trusted with ownership of critical initiatives that shape Pure Watercrafts future.

Youve leveraged your curiosity and drive to develop a rock-solid foundation in strategic analysis, and want to apply these skills operationally at a watershed moment in the global recreational boating industry. You delight in using quantitative analysis to solve complex, unstructured problems and enjoy synthesizing and effectively communicating your insights to influence decisions. What Youll Mostly Do
  • Develop data-driven analyses to support strategic initiatives, including M&A
  • Prepare compelling presentations, white papers, and other collateral to advance partnerships (including government relations) or strategic objectives
  • Identify and apply for financing opportunities (often advancing multiple, long-lead projects simultaneously)
  • Build and maintain a financing pipeline and assist with periodic investor updates
  • Prepare and analyze market research, proactively identifying key industry trends and strategic opportunities
  • Collaborate with colleagues across various teams to advance business development goals
What We Look For First:
  • 2+ years relevant work experience (strategy or finance at a startup, investment bank, venture capital, or management consulting)
  • Exceptional analytical, quantitative problem-solving, and data management skills
  • Outstanding record of achievement and leadership, professionally or academically
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to operate independently in a remote team environment, nimbly managing frequently-shifting priorities, tight deadlines, and relationships
  • A genial-yet-scrappy, entrepreneurial mindset
Bonus Superpowers:
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent in a quantitative discipline
