Role Profile
This role will be responsible for providing timely and accurate execution of trades (FX & crypto) for BVNK's corporate clients. You will observe the firm's trading & risk management procedures. Provide market information to clients and organize trading support activities. Responsibilities will be commensurate with level of experience. Crypto is a 24/7 market and thus the candidate must be willing to work shifts (outside of normal 8:00-17:00) and the occasional weekend shift.
Tasks and responsibilities
As a Liquidity & Execution Analyst you will:
- Execute orders for clients, accurately booking and reconciling in the system on the day.
- Review and assist the team in the implementation of general and administrative issues, relevant to the desk.
- Observe the firm's trading & risk management procedures.
- Maintain clear communication with the team and assist in resolving any settlement problems.
- Monitor all daily electronic trading activity via several chat applications.
- Identify & analyse trading opportunities across core African markets -arbitrage, new verticals, new partnerships, etc.
- Ensure client general satisfaction and proactively seeks to grow volumes with existing clients.
- Assist in general administrative activity for the team (Account opening, AML/KYC investigations, Account Maintenance, etc.).

Essential
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, and/or related field.
- 1-3 years previous experience as an FX broker/trader/treasurer.
- Interest in and knowledge of cryptocurrencies would be a distinct advantage.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and strong analytical ability. Organised and detail oriented with a demonstrated ability to follow up to meet deadlines.
- Must have demonstrated the ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively.
- Ability to create and maintain counterparty relationships
- Have experience establishing this function within a high growth fintech or software industry
- Experience working in a Product Led organisation.
