Job Description
Responsibility of maintaining and inspecting transport vehicles effectively, carry out running repairs, breakdowns and assist transport administrator with related administrative duties.
- You will be responsible for doing daily vehicle inspections.
- Day to day vehicle running repairs.
- Assisting with breakdown repairs to vehicles.
- Performing standby duties
- Assisting with refuelling duties
- Ensuring that Health & Safety practices are always adhered to.
- On job training when required.
- Any day to day transport related Adhere duties.
Qualification Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Valid code 10 drivers licence with PrDP required
- 3-4 years' experience as the workshop assistant.
- Commercial Vehicle mechanical related experience essential.
- Auto-electrical experience (advantageous)
- Analytical / Attention to detail.
