What you'll do:
As a Banking and Finance Attorney, your role will be pivotal in supporting the global banking relationship managers. You will be responsible for leading negotiations for contractual documentation related to bilateral and syndicated loan facilities, ensuring compliance with procedural checks, overseeing the entire negotiation process, establishing strong relationships with stakeholders, and staying informed about regulatory changes. Your expertise in banking law will be crucial in driving successful transactions.
- Lead and manage negotiations for contractual documentation related to bilateral and syndicated loan facilities
- Ensure compliance with procedural checks and balances, promptly identifying and escalating any concerns to relevant stakeholders
- Oversee and drive the entire negotiation and execution process of the documentation, from initial draft to financial close
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders involved in transactions
- Keep up-to-date on local and international regulatory and legal developments that impact financing transactions
Requirements:
- Admitted Attorney with 2-10 years of post-admission experience practicing Banking and Finance law
- Strong background in Syndicated Lending, Bilateral Lending, General Lending Transactions, LMA Style Loan-agreements
- Proven experience in negotiating loan documentation
- Experience working in a bank, financial institution, or reputable law firm
- Excellent communication, negotiation skills
