Branch Manager - Pretoria

As a Sales Leadership Expert/Branch Manager, your main focus will be:

• Managing and running the Pretoria branch profitably
• Development and growth of income and business in the Pretoria/Gauteng area
• Managing, training, developing, coaching and motivating staff
• Providing input on national matters
• Servicing and retaining clients

We will count on you to:

• Manage income
• Set annual budgets and manage branch within these budgets
• Draw up annual branch business plan
• Implement Best Practice processes and procedures and ensure adherence thereof
• Manage and measure the minimum standards as set for the Pretoria office
• Hold regular meetings between the company and suppliers
• Set and manage New Business targets
• Constantly build relationships between client, suppliers and the company
• Establish yearly training plan for the staff
• Collate and reconcile all management information lost business, new business, claims, cash, flash, variance reporting etc.
• Provide management information / reports as and when required
• Attend and contribute to various branch managers conferences and contact training schools
• Take part and contribute to various projects that take place during the year
• Manage credit control within the required standards

What you need to have:

• Minimum 10 years appropriate experience in short term insurance, sales and client service delivery function
• Matric, relevant formal qualification and AIISA (or similar)
• Must be FAIS compliant
• Must have passed Regulatory Exams level 1
• Must be fluent in English and Fluency in Afrikaans will be an added advantage
