Business Analyst

Job Purpose
  • To provide system and process support to project owners
  • Access business requirements and design solutions
  • Testing of new or changed software before being deployed to production
Job Outputs
  • Receive project requirements (charter)
  • Define system requirements (BRS & FRS)
  • Generate requirements documentation
  • Receive new products and test
  • Provide feedback to developers
  • Finalise implementation
  • Receive approved cost budget per project
  • Manage costs of projects
  • Allocate payments
  • Provide feedback on performance against budget
  • Receive feedback from users
  • Provide training for users
  • Document faults (bugs)
  • Liaise with developers and service providers
  • Oversee solving of system problems
  • Provide progress reports
  • Generate system specifications
  • Monitor correct use of ticketing systems (ISIS & Camara Redmine)
  • Allocate queries
  • Update and track queries
  • Run back-up processes when necessary
  • Manage compliance to system change procedures
  • Oversee access to systems
  • Ensure sign-off before live implementation
  • Provide support during external audit
  • Liaise with Operations to make changes to system
  • Identify solutions for system updates
  • Liaise with developers for system improvements and changes
Qualifications
  • TertiaryDegree/Diploma in Computer Science/Commerce - Desirable
  • Tertiary qualification in Business (Systems) Analysis - Compulsory
Experience
  • At least 2 years Business (systems) analysis with complex IT systems and processes (Operational)
  • At least 3 years Business experience within a Financial/Fintech company
Knowledge And Skills
  • MS Office (Word / Excel / Outlook / PowerPoint)
  • MS Office 365 (Teams / Power BI / SharePoint / OneDrive)
  • Microsoft SQL
  • System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Company production life cycle
  • In-depth knowledge Sea and related production software
  • External systems production requirements (Banks / adumo / Idemia)
