About The Role
The purpose of this role is to:
- Manage the development of an HHS-wide business continuity program, in accordance with relevant legislation, international standards and associated Metro North Health policies, frameworks and plans to ensure efficient and pragmatic response to business disruption incidents.
- Mature business continuity arrangements and capability across the HHS through review of existing processes, gap analysis, engagement with services and implementing changes.
- Ensure a high level of assurance in business continuity plans and arrangements through quality assurance and improvement activities.
- Support the management of business continuity incidents at the HHS-level, both in and out of hours, as part of the Emergency Management and Business Continuity (EMBC) Duty Manager roster as required.

- Be focused on developing and maintaining relationships with a range of stakeholders including Metro North Executives.
- Have prior experience in a business continuity management (BCM) or similar position with a thorough understanding and experience in planning, developing and delivering business continuity frameworks.
- Performed or have great knowledge in risk management.
- Have a track record of producing high-quality procedural documentation and policy materials.
- Capability to learn quickly and be adaptable to changes.
- Proven leadership ability and well-developed interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
