Purpose of the role:
We're looking for a professional to join us as Site Manager with a strong background in Cold Chain/Cold Storage. Acting as General Manager, you'll be fully accountable for P&L and operations of the cold chain products for the site having business development and operational ownership. Operational management supporting and enabling the Maersk cold chain product families and value proposition to our clients being either stand alone or part of a global supply chain solution.
This position is based in Cape Town and not available at any other locations.

Profit & Loss
- P&L responsible for the site. Covering all products and clients offered at this site

- At least 5 years experience as Site Manager with full responsibility for the Facilities HR, IR and Safety
- Must have proven industry knowledge in Fruit and Veg, Frozen and Protein products
- Knowledge of the local SA customs and Labour Law
- Strong leadership, people and talent development experience
