Chief Financial Officer

Calling all experienced CFO'/FD's which is CA(SA) qualified to join a rapidly growing start up fintech company. Reporting to the CEO the successful incumbent will be responsible for all financial strategy and operations. This person will also be a partner to the CEO for strategic decisions and for supporting the company in getting more operationally efficient.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the financial team
• Review, assess, implement, working capital optimisation, treasury management
• Lead all financial functions
• Ensure cash flow is appropriate for the organisations operations
• Ensure commercial development and decision making are supported
• Support compliance efforts and help manage risk at company level
• Support on investment strategies and on organisations fundraising plans and capital structure
• Drive automation of key processes
• Ensure optimal and compliant group and intra-company structures
• Manage the processes for financial forecasting and budgets

Requirements:

• CA(SA) - Mandatory
• Minimum 10 years experience, ideally in a high transactional volumes industry
• Experience within the payments space will be advantages
• Understand foreign exchange and real-time cross-border payments experience
