What you'll need:
- National Senior Certificate.
- At least 1-year relevant experience will be advantageous.
- Basic computer skills.
- Great communication skills.
What you'll be doing:
- Cleaning of designated areas such as storeroom, kitchen etc.
- Pack shelves and fridges with stock as per established procedure.
- Ensure that shelves and fridges are fully packed with stock and are always clean and tidy.
- Ensure that pricing labels are accurate, neat and tidy at all times.
- Ensure that labels on shelves match the items on shelves.
- Ensure vigilant safeguarding of all company property, assets, and stock.
- Receive deliveries as per the established procedure.
- Ensure accurate recording of stock received.
- Assist with stock taking/ counting as per the established procedure, when required.
- Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of store, storeroom, and fridge floors, windows and shelves.
- Ensure the effective removal of waste and refuse from store and storeroom, and deposit into skip bin.
- Constantly monitor customers in the store and assist where possible.
- Report any suspect customer or behavior to management immediately.
- Prevent customers from entering offices and storerooms without permission.
- Assist with general duties when requested/ instructed to do.
- Adhere to health, safety, security, and environment standards, policies, and procedures, including emergency response plans.
- Ensure that all service steps are followed as per the company policies and procedures.
