Job Purpose
- Accurate and timeous planning of Sample production activities to meet customer requirements.
- Efficiently planning, scheduling, and purchasing raw materials required to produce Sample Orders and maintaining supplier relationships.
- Maintaining customer satisfaction through timeous communication of deviations.
- Order Fixing: Correctly interpret and action incoming sample orders in alignment with SLAs, in order to deliver on time. This includes re-scheduling production according to stock availability, placing reason codes and communicating with requestors incase of any deviations from SLA.
- Production Scheduling: create process orders and provide daily, weekly, and monthly schedules aligning demand to available capacity.
- Internal Goods Raw material procurement: To place and track raw material orders for planned production and due dates are communicated to all relevant parties.
- Stock management: monitor, maintain and control Library stock requirements by co-ordinating the replenishment of materials in the library and communicating requirements to stakeholders of the process.
- Lead Industrial Sampling Kaizen projects aimed compliance and or improving efficiencies, safety, quality, and cost.
- Adhere to daily routines, update KPIs as required and execute assigned actions.
- Adhere to Safety requirements.
- Train occasional assigned students and Temps
- Troubleshooting problems related to the working area.
- Collaborate with the Logistics and Warehouse Teams, to ensure smooth running of production.
- Provides manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analysing production performance and conducting root cause analysis in the case of deviations from the production schedule.
- Collaborate with the Planning Department to align on raw material usage and reservations.
- National Diploma in Supply chain management & Logistics/Operations management
- 2 years experience in FMCG
- 2 years experience in Procurement planning & Production planning,
- SAP Experience
- Stock management
- Excellent Excel skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Problem solving skills
