The successful candidate will be responsible for driving and implementing clinical operations function within Client dialysis units in line with company strategic objectives of growth, quality treatment and people.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide strategic direction & leadership to the dialysis centers within the area of responsibility.
- Oversee & manage the day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient & effective delivery of dialysis services.
- Monitor KPIs, identify trends, & implement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency & patient satisfaction.
- Collaborate with unit managers to establish operational goals, action plans, and performance targets.
- Lead, mentor, & develop a team of unit managers, nurses & support staff.
- Provide guidance & support to ensure a skilled and motivated workforce.
- Foster a positive work culture that promotes teamwork, professionalism, and continuous learning.
- Develop training programs to enhance staff competencies and ensure compliance with best practices.
- Develop and manage budgets for the area of responsibility, ensuring optimal resource allocation and cost control.
- Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with finance and medical aid claims teams to ensure accurate billing, revenue collection, and timely financial reporting.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth within the dialysis centers.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, patients, and funder organizations.
- Collaborate with marketing and business development teams to enhance the reputation & market presence of the dialysis centers.
- Continuously assess operational processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Implement best practices and standardize workflows across the dialysis centers.
- Leverage technology and data analytics to drive operational efficiency and enhance patient outcomes.
- Lead change management initiatives to ensure successful implementation of process improvements.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Relevant Business qualification
- 5 years proven leadership and management experience (ideally within private healthcare)
- Knowledge of the private healthcare industry, its challenges and role-players including understanding of relevant legislation and regulations relating to healthcare industry.
