Credit Risk Analyst

Key Responsibilities

JOB DESCRIPTION
  • Help identify opportunities to attract new credit accounts across different channels.
  • Support marketing efforts aimed at increasing credit sales.
  • Assist in forecasting account growth, turnover, and profitability.
  • Track and analyse test results from strategic initiatives and campaigns.
  • Provide data-driven insights using large datasets to support business decisions.
  • Present your findings and insights to management in clear and engaging ways.
  • Analyse business problems and come up with data-driven solutions.
  • Document your processes and results to keep everything organised and easy to follow.
  • Communicate findings clearly to your peers and other departments.
  • Track account growth and profitability quarterly to identify new opportunities.
  • Extract and prepare data for various projects and models.
  • Work with different teams to gather information and ensure champion/challenger tests are accurate.
  • Contribute to strategies for growing new accounts through marketing campaigns.
Qualifications And Experience
  • A degree in a field like Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or similar.
  • Familiarity with data management tools (e.g., SAS, SQL, or similar).
  • Good Excel skills.
  • Any knowledge of the credit industry or experience working with large datasets is a bonus.
  • Experience with data analysis techniques like regression or decision trees would be helpful.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for working with data.

About The Team

The finance team at TFG provides the highest level of financial support and expertise across the entire business, both within central finance and specific business areas. This role is with the Cellular (hi) and Value Added Services area. The environment consists of 5 different business areas that are in different stages of business growth, many at the early stages of exciting new projects that will deliver enhanced business value to the TFG group.
