Purpose of Job:
The Delivery Management Specialist role is all about people, discovering what makes people tick and building on strengths. Reporting to the Head of Delivery, you will be the forefront in helping to define, and maintain the necessary tools/processes that will enable the technology team to succeed in delivering leading class projects. You will have extensive stakeholder management experience and you will know how to adapt to different situations in a fast-paced environment. You will not be afraid to roll up your sleeves and lead by example creatively when needed.
Being a self-starter, a good communicator, and the ability to manage priorities is key to succeeding in this role.
The output of your role is to act as the gatekeepers of technology resources and be responsible for
managing the workflow of all teams within the department. Identifying opportunities for process improvement, setting directing for projects from brief through to final delivery, ensuring timely delivery of all projects undertaken by the technology department. Develop delivery reports that showcase performance based on the KPIs.
You will be responsible for:
- Work closely with Head of Delivery to promote best practices for the delivery team.
- Be point of contact for all jobs raised requirements across the business with new WJSF process.
- Be the SME for Workfront tool within the business.
- Work with Workday Administrators to provide relevant capacity planning reports.
- Build relationship with project/programme managers and peers throughout the business to ensure effective communication and delivery of work.
- Work closely with stakeholders across various departments to understand their requirements and translate this to the team.
- Work with the delivery leadership team to help develop processes that makes the delivery more effective and streamlined.
- Create project timelines and estimates for work.
- Review daily resource and workload schedules for the technology team.
- Provide the business with reports, aligning to business goals and studio KPIs.
- Hold workshops and knowledge shares to increase skillsets and awareness within and outside the delivery team.
- Experience of mentoring team members for improved team efficiency.
