Short Description / Purpose Of Job
To provide continuous input and support into maintenance, refurbishment, and project planning activities applicable to various business units. To apply the planning principles at an operation level following the Work Management Process (WMP).
Recruitment Description / Key Accountabilities
Successful execution of overhaul/ maintenance program plan vs actual
Work Management Process (WMP) KPIs reporting
Schedule compliance to Work Management Process (WMP)
Accurate asset and sub-assembly life cycle data
Open work order control as per agreed targets
Train and coach fellow employees and learners
Compile monthly maintenance planning deviation reports
Discuss progress, exception reports, follow-up actions at agreed Forums
Downtime per shift (Target vs actual)
Runtime per shift (Target vs actual)
Implementation of new technologies and methodologies as determine by Sasol Mining strategy
Monitor and report on performance of new technologies and methodologies
Ensure current and updated task list for strategies and repetitive maintenance work adherence
Participate in standard setting by Industry Forums
Compliance to governance Forums (standardisation Engineering User Group)
Understand the planning role and apply planning principles
Perform SAP transactions (Plant Maintenance)
Ensure activities within Engineering specific area of responsibility comply with applicable planning procedures and processes
Ensure the statutory process is maintained and adhered to
Be familiar with materials, services, financial and related work procedures and processes
Evaluate and verify correctness of notification information and take corrective action on deviations
Ensure accurate and quality work order feedback information

Formal Education:
Grade 12 with Mathematics, Science and English / Technical N3 with English
and Relevant Trade NQF L4
Or
Grade 12 with Mathematics, Science and English / Technical N3 with English
and Internal technical training

and Engineering National Diploma
Minimum Experience:
Five (5) Years Planning experience as Planner Assistant or Planner
License:
