Enterprise Account Manager - South Africa

The Enterprise Account Manager will be responsible for developing/closing business with corporate accounts and working with channels, GSI and Alliances at a global and local level to engage the territory assigned large organizations and to position the solutions we sell.

The Enterprise Account Manager will be required to integrate with their Inside Sales Representative to align roles and responsibilities and to ensure adequate coverage of the assigned accounts.

The Enterprise Account Manager should be comfortable presenting in front of senior audiences and be able to build credibility at a CxO level in their allocated accounts to gain access to discuss broad based solutioning and technology requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Developing and closing business with named major accounts in this geographic region
  • Leverage Business generated by Partners with End Customers
  • Solution selling to an existing customer base and new prospects
  • Accurate forecasting and account/opportunity management in SalesForce.com
  • Maintaining Salesforce to the required hygiene standards
  • Reporting regularly to management on their weekly progress and on occasion to a large managerial audience on large deal reviews
Qualifications
  • Knowledge of virtualisation technology, Kubernetes and cloud architectures in enterprise sized customers and the ability to explain the business value of each
  • Have experience selling through the channel to large and complex organizations.
  • Significant demonstrable track record of accomplishment selling software and technology solutions to enterprise businesses in South Africa
  • Be able to demonstrate key executive relationships in top tier enterprise accounts and the ability and understanding of how to expand on those relationships to grow the enterprise opportunity in the assigned accounts
  • Strong knowledge of consultative sales that gets results and be able to orchestrate matrixed support teams to engage and successfully close deals
  • Experience in selling technologically complex systems and products to business audiences
  • Be available to travel across South Africa
  • Be a self-starter with the ability to learn quickly
  • Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where roles and responsibilities change quickly
  • Language skills: English
