Purpose Of The Job

The ideal candidates will be responsible for operating all farming equipment as needed fro soil tillage, planting, ridging, spraying and harvesting, . He or she should also be responsible for servicing, repairing farming equipment. As required he/she will be assisting with making small modifications to equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor and various agriculture implements related to the production of the crops
• Ensure that the correct safety protocols are adhered to.
• Cleaning equipment and tractors and ensure the workshop is adhering to housekeeping rules.

Requirements

• Minimum is Grade 12 or equivalent
• At least 1-3 years experience in operating GPS-steered farm machinery and harvesting equipment
• Good Experience in farming equipment maintenance and repairs
• Proven tractor operator experience,
• Good command of English both oral and written
