Job description
We are seeking to employ an experienced and well-organized Skills Development Facilitator to join our vibrant SDF team in Pretoria.
The ideal candidate should be a team player as well as an individual performer that is willing to work in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment.
Job Overview
The SDF will act as the liaison officer between SERR Synergy and our corporate clients and must assist clients in complying with the Skills Development Act and Employment Equity legislation.
Minimum requirements:
- Grade 12 and any relevant tertiary education
- Certified and Registered Skills Development Facilitator
- Minimum 3 years' external SDF experience is compulsory
- Must have experience in the compilation and submission of Workplace Skills Plans (WSPs) and Annual Training Reports (ATRs) to various SETAs
- Must have experience in the compilation and submission of Employment Equity reports to the Department of Labour
- Knowledgeable on applicable legislation relating to Employment Equity and Skills Development
- Experience on the various SETA systems will be advantageous
- Attention to detail
- Data analysis and recordkeeping
- Information ordering
- Computer literate (advance Microsoft Excel)
- Must have own reliable transport
- Applicant must be fluent in English and Afrikaans
- Register on various reporting systems (SETA information systems)
- Stay abreast with changes to legislation and reporting systems by attending industry workshops and roadshows
- Compile and submit reports on behalf of our clients to the relevant SETA (WSPs/ATRs) within the specified time frames
- Compile and submit Employment Equity reports on behalf of our clients to the Department of Labour within the specified time frames
- Advise clients about the implementation of the Workplace Skills Plans (WSPs)
- Act as a contact person between the client and the SETA and ensure client satisfaction at various client interactions
- Serves as a resource with regards to all aspects of Skills Development and Employment Equity
- Communicate SETA initiatives, grants and benefits to the client
