Finance Manager

Malander is seeking a dedicated and experienced Finance Manager for a 3-month contract to manage the entire finance function of our client. The ideal individual should have a strong background in finance and accounting, along with a proven record of successful financial management and strategic planning. This role entails collaborating with the client's finance team to achieve their organisational objectives.

Responsibilities

• Overall team management;
• Ensuring timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in accordance with accounting standards;
• Presenting financial reports to management, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies;
• Complying with relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements;
• Monitoring cash flow and liquidity to ensure the organisations financial stability;
• Implementing strategies to optimise cash flow, such as managing accounts receivable and payable;
• Assessing short-term and long-term cash needs and developing appropriate strategies.

Qualifications

• CA(SA) qualification;
• Minimum 3 years post qualification experience;
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in finance or accounting;
• Strong leadership and team management skills;
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities;
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office suite.
