- Stay updated on changes in food safety laws and regulations and implement necessary adjustments.
- Conduct regular inspections of food processing areas, storage facilities, and transportation systems.
- Perform internal audits to ensure compliance with food safety policies and procedures.
- Coordinate and prepare for external audits by regulatory bodies and certification organizations.
- Develop, implement, and maintain food safety management systems.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective actions to mitigate food safety risks.
- Investigate food safety complaints and incidents, determine root causes, and develop preventive measures.
- Develop and deliver training programs for employees on food safety practices and procedures.
- Provide ongoing education to staff on best practices in food hygiene and sanitation.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, audits, incidents, and corrective actions.
- Prepare and submit reports on food safety performance to management and regulatory authorities.
- Grade 12
- Diploma in Food Safety or related
- Minimum 2 3 years relevant experience
- HACCP and ISO22000 experience essential,
- Supervisory experience essential,
