Full Stack Developer (Java)

Our client is looking for a Senior Java Full Stack Developer in Gauteng We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Java Developer to join our dynamic, experienced, and productive software team. Reporting to the Software Development Manager, the successful candidate will assist in the continued design, development, and improvement of our software applications.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience developing web-based applications using standard technologies such as Java, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, HTML, CSS, AJAX, JQUERY, and other web services. They must demonstrate strong attention to detail, the ability to multi-task, and have good problem-solving skills. They should also possess excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy user interfaces and services for web-based applications using the latest technologies
• Implement security standards for web applications
• Troubleshoot and debug application issues
• Identify potential application improvements and develop plans for implementation
• Self-manage assigned tasks and present progress updates
• Foster positive relationships with customers

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
• 5+ years of experience developing web-based applications using Java, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, HTML, CSS, AJAX, JQUERY, and other web services
• Solid understanding of databases and database structures
• Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team
• Good communication and organizational skills.
