The Operational Services Team at the Collinsville Multi-Purpose Health Service is looking for a Gardener to join their team on a Casual basis.

Mackay Hospital and Health Service provides a public healthcare service to a population of more than 182, 000 across the Mackay Region, Whitsundays and Hinterland. The district covers an area of approximately 90, 000km2.

To provide effective and efficient support of all operational services of the Collinsville Multi-purpose Health Service, including gardening and grounds, whilst always adhering to organisational standards, policies, and procedures

About The Team

Collinsville Multi-purpose Health Service is located in the Whitsunday Regional Shire in the town of Collinsville, approximately 86 southwest from Bowen, a journey which takes approximately 1 hour from Bowen.

The Collinsville Multi-purpose Health Service consists of Hospital services, an Aged Care Area, and Community Health with a private Doctor's surgery at the end of the building. The Collinsville Multi-purpose Health Service has an 8-bed acute inpatient facility and an emergency and outpatient service. In addition, there are 7 Aged Care beds, Medical Imaging with a visiting radiographer, a range of Telehealth services and ambulatory care including allied health and community and child health services.

Mackay Hospital and Health Service has six hospitals, two multi-purpose health services and four community health centres that employ more than 3, 300 staff. The district covers an area of approximately 90, 000km2 and provides services to patients and their families in Bowen, Cannonvale, Clermont, Collinsville, Dysart, Glenden, Mackay, Middlemount, Moranbah, Proserpine and Sarina.
