We are seeking an experienced Group Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial leadership and support to RedCloud Technology, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and implementing financial processes and controls.
What you will be doing
- Prepare and manage month end, including balance sheets, P&Ls, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and group policies.
- Review key unreconciled business processes/ balance sheet variances and implement best practice controls to ensure future accuracy.
- Implement best practice financial control and operating policy on new business process
- Manage group wide balance sheet reconciliations and mentor 3 finance managers on ensuring balance sheet reconciliations are maintained.
- Implement and maintain financial processes and controls.
- Provide technical accounting guidance and support to group companies.
- Coordinate with external auditors to ensure smooth audit processes.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
- Experience in group accounting, financial reporting, and audit
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within a multinational environment.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and experience in preparing consolidated financial statements.
- Excellent analytical skills with proficiency in using financial software and tools such as SAP, Oracle, or similar systems.
