Synergy is currently seeking an experienced and results-driven HR Business Partner (HRBP) to align our HR initiatives and functions with business objectives and business needs. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization. Reporting into the Head of Human Resources.
Job Objectives
- Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., Coaching, counselling, career development, disciplinary actions).
- Provide industrial relations advisory to all internal clients of the organisation, Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
- Analyses trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention, providing HR policy guidance and interpretation.
- Must be able to work nightshift (4pm-1 am) subject to change according to business requirements.
- Minimum 4-5 years HR Generalist experience (Employee Relations, Recruitment, Talent Management, Organizational Effectiveness/ Development, HR Governance, Learning & Development, HR Analytics, Administration and HR Projects)
- Knowledge and understanding of all South African labour legislation. CCMA practice
- Bachelor's Diploma /Degree or equivalent
- Ability to comprehend, interpret and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.
- Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization's hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices and the administrative practices related to those factors. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
