We are excited to announce an opportunity for an early career hire as an HR Operations Coordinator to join our dynamic Johannesburg office. In this role, you will provide essential HR administrative support to our HR team, helping to ensure smooth and efficient operations. We are seeking a passionate individual who thrives on working with people and is ready to make a positive impact within our organization.

Responsibilities
- Contributes to operational excellence in HR by efficiently and accurately executing processes related to employment compliance, benefits administration, and employee data management.
- Provides an excellent service experience when executing employee-facing processes.
- Proactively identifies opportunities to improve the employee experience, quality, velocity, and/or cost of HR processes.
- Supports the maintenance of an HR Operations knowledge database and the gathering and reporting of HR operational metrics.
- Demonstrate good knowledge of South African labour legislation (BCEA, LRA, OHS, COIDA)
- Support the Talent Acquisition process by staying informed on recruitment progress and identifying BBBEE hiring requirements
- Understand and drive BBBEE strategy in terms of panning and executing skills development (WSP/ATR compliance)
- Collaborate with the EHS team to structure safety awareness workshops, and compliance of the OHS Act.
- Compile EEA 12 and EEA 13 reports, structure EE committee and ensure compliance with the Employment Equity Act
- Support regional career development workshops
- Demonstrate good knowledge of SharePoint to update local SharePoint page
- Monitor learnership progress and schedule workplace learning activities
- Support onboarding and exit processes
- Support HR projects to drive diversity and inclusion topics
- Attend to ad hoc queries and HR administrative requirements
Bachelor of Commerce Degree with 2-3 years experience in Human Resources

- Service Excellence: Knowledge of customer service concepts and techniques; ability to meet or exceed customer needs and expectations and provide excellent service in a direct or indirect manner.
- Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.
- Employee Relations: Knowledge of the rights and obligations in the employee relations; ability to adhere to legal requirements when handling employee negotiations.
