Responsibilities
Project Management & Administration
Support Project Manager (PM) at client meetings (including minute-taking & distribution)
Create & maintain project file (quote, contract, debit order authorisation, statement of work, project plan, minutes, processes, communiqu)
Provide input into project plan
Manage deliverables per project plan dates
Business Analysis & Data Gathering
Evaluate hardware & remote access (client & server as per company requirements doc) & highlight potential pitfalls to PM
Drive data gathering phase of project
Set up required business analysis interviews / workshops
Conduct business analysis interviews / workshops
Gather required data for configuration, including non database items (such as: warehouse maps, label xml, Logo's etc)
Obtain all examples of client's existing reports that are required
Document / map business processes
Document business rules and client requests
Create & Maintain Client Report Specification Document
Describe requested modifications to standard reports
List & describe new reporting requirements, referencing report examples / layouts
Quote on report changes
Design, Build, Test
Setup internal "Configuration Workshop" (PM + IC) to brainstorm configuration based on business analysis and data gathered)
Build Per Agreed Client Design Spec
Configure database & Program Files Folder
Import data
Configure company program files (including: create company logo's, watermark, barcodes, warehouse maps)
Load & test reports per Reports Spec
Test
PASTEL INTEGRATION
Configure database
Setup internal "Post Configuration Workshop" & conduct Project Manager walkthrough to get approval/internal sign off on setup
Setup & Conduct "Client Walkthrough": Setup, prepare & conduct client walkthrough of an end-to-end job on in house product.
Obtain Walkthrough Signoff from client ( configuration, standard reports, custom reports, implementation dates)
Complete "Post Client Walkthrough" modifications
Implementation
Execute Server Installation - live and training databases
Install Required Applications: Install SQL, Live DB, Training DB, Client Applications, sTask, Integration Applications onsite, Winrar
Create live and training databases & restore prepared backups
Set up database backup
Create shared files
Execute user installations
At end of implementation, obtain sign-off of project by customer & present to Project Manager
Training
Maintain & improve training practices and material within training department
Develop, set-up and communicate training schedules with client
Ensure training attendance registers are signed, tests are setup & conducted, and feedback and certificates given to users and client
Ensure training sessions are conducted on-time and effectively
File training documentation in project file (Attendance Forms & Tests)
Ensure users have access to up-to-date user manuals
Client Support
Post implementation follow-up; ensuring all systems are being used correctly
Manage client queries
Resolve client issues timeously
Resolve client issues accurately
Client visits
Assisting with client upgrades where necessary
Answering phones calls & telephonic support
General Departmental Administration (across All Company Regions If Required)
Understand all areas and modules of in-house software

- Pastel Partner & Pastel Evolution Integration
- TikTok
- Load tickets
- Prioritise tickets
- Provide quotes and obtain sign-offs on customer requests
- Action tickets timeously
