Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic category plans for IT procurement, leveraging Rfx processes to drive efficiency and value.
- Lead cross-functional teams in the assessment of technology needs, supplier identification, and negotiation of contracts to achieve cost savings and enhance value.
- Utilize category management principles to drive innovation, efficiency, and continuous improvement in procurement processes.
- Conduct thorough market analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings, risk mitigation, and improved supplier performance.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand their technology requirements and provide expert guidance on procurement matters.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with key suppliers, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and standards.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements in all IT procurement activities.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of procurement initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in IT procurement, with a focus on strategic category management and Rfx processes.
- Strong understanding of IT products, services, and market trends.
- Expertise in utilizing Rfx processes for procurement efficiency.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
