Key Responsibilities
New Staff:
- Add new staff on Integrity payroll
- Add new staff on ESS
- Add new staff on Liber8 (Liberty Pension Fund)
- Send Medical Aid application/transfer forms to Discovery medical aid.
- Terminate staff on Integrity payroll
- Terminate staff on Liber8
- Process membership removal on Discovery
- Clear standby amounts posted into Integrity payroll
- Verify and correct overtime and standby input on ESS
- Post Overtime and standby into Integrity payroll
- Process Commission amounts received from Finance on Integrity payroll
- Process Fuel Card amounts and Fuel Claims (Kestrel) received from Finance on Integrity payroll
- Process ad hoc Petrol claims on Integrity Payroll.
- Process Staff Deduction amounts received from Finance (for various) and Marketing (KCS internal store purchases) on Integrity payroll
- Process Gift Cards on Integrity payroll for Tax Purposes.
- Compile variance reports for all payroll entities.
- Compare current month to previous months and supply reasons for variances.
- Complete UIF forms UI-19, UI2.7 and Salary Schedule for employees applying for Maternity Benefits.
- Create monthly UIF files from payroll and submit declarations to UIF office.
- Make payslips available for viewing in ESS
- Generate dummy payslips for HRBPs and Talent Acquisition department.
- Create monthly EMP201 reports and e-mail to Finance department for payment.
- Do monthly reconciliation between MyKCS and Integrity payroll.
- Password protect all variance files and send to Group Finance Director for review.
- Complete and Submit Quarterly STATS SA return.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
- Creative, practical and able to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines
- High level of computer literacy, excellent Excel skills required
- Attention to detail
