Jewellery & Production Associate

The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing processes, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality jewellery pieces. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise in jewellery manufacturing, and a passion for achieving operational excellence.

As a Workshop Operations Associate, you will receive hands-on training in the critical functions of our jewellery workshop. You will work closely with our experienced jewellers, setters, polishers, and production assistants to learn about workshop operations, quality control standards, and efficient inventory management. This is an excellent opportunity to develop leadership skills, gain technical expertise, and contribute to the optimization of our production processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Training in Workshop Operations:
  • Learn the full cycle of jewellery production, from design to the finished piece. Understand workshop workflows and contribute to improving operational efficiency.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements to optimize the production timeline, reduce waste, and enhance overall efficiency.
  • Quality Control and Assurance:
  • Receive training on how to establish and enforce quality standards. Conduct quality checks on jewellery pieces during and after production to ensure they meet the highest specifications.
  • Inventory Control:
  • Learn how to oversee inventory levels of raw materials, components, and finished goods. Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure optimal inventory levels and minimize production delays.
  • Health, Safety, and Compliance:
  • Understand workshop safety protocols and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Team Collaboration:
  • Work alongside a diverse team of artisans and production staff. Develop communication and leadership skills to manage and inspire teams in the future.
Requirements
  • Education:
  • Bachelors degree in Jewellery Design, Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • Skills and Competencies:
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Leadership potential with a decision-making mindset.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
