- Perform planned maintenance duties ensuring efficient operation of the Mill
- Perform planned shuts duties, ensuring equipment availability and that work is completed within specified time period.
- Manage contractors involved with the above functions.
- Implementing and maintaining long term planning programmes and initiatives
- Take a practical role in optimisation of systems and resources in shut planning and coordination
- Monitoring process and systems conditions and trends to improve productivity and efficiency relating to long term planning on a multi-disciplinary basis
- Engage in liaison with other stakeholders such as suppliers, management, production department and maintenance
- Provide support to Level 3 Senior Support Services specialists that is included but not limited to projects, business partnering and organisational performance in achieving the operational plan for the long term shut planning
- Provide guidance to work that is being done at Level 2 that is included but not limited to coordination, reporting and communication of long term shut plans
- Create, capture, issue and archive works orders from maintenance schedules
- Operate computerized reporting system
- Supervise and maintain the quality standards in maintenance processes and practices
- Lead Forward Planning Activities
- Support scoping of work with all disciplines. Directly scope work as required
- Raise and track Master Data Change Notifications
- Manage Bad Actor Action Tracker and RCFA Action tracker. Ensure actions incorporated within Planned shuts and forward planning activities
- Configure PMMPs on CMMS as per relevant Master Data Change Notifications approved
- 3 5 Years in an Engineering Planning environment within a manufacturing environment
- Minimum of a NFQ 5 Tertiary qualification in Planning or a Trade qualification
- Pulp and Paper industry experience advantageous
