What will you do?
The Team Manager manages a team of Financing consultants which forms part of the Intermediary Payroll Support (IPS) teams within REMS. The team service the SanlamConnect sales business with respect to Intermediary Financing administration processes. Success in this role requires interaction and liaison with various SanlamConnect and Retail Affluent internal and external partners and role-players. Managing and overseeing the operations and outputs of the team includes Budget management, Performance and Risk management as well as Compliance reporting. The Team manager overseas the administration of Adviser and Broker Financing, In-service Adviser Debt Management and the management of the REMS Financial Controllers.

- Minimum 3 years Retail Affluent: SanlamConnect experience
- Knowledge of relevant legislation impacting on the Financial Services environment
- Knowledge of operations/processes within SanlamConnect/Operations and Sanlam
- Knowledge of Adviser and Broker Financing processes, procedures and systems
- Knowledge of HR Policy & processes
- Knowledge of SAP4H
- Computer Knowledge - MS packages Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Knowledge of TCF, FICA, FAIS, NCA, POPIA and Long-term Insurance Act will be advantageous
